French pastry chef internship in Bar Le Duc, fall 2022

Six students from our school participated in a two-week professional internship accompanied by two specialist teacher colleagues between 11.11.2022 and 25.11.2022. We established the relationship with the French CFA européen Louis Prioux/AFPROM partner institution in 2020. The six students took part in a professional internship as a baker and confectioner in the school’s workshop, where, under the guidance of French professionals, they learned how to prepare the typical products of the French baking and confectionery industry. During the plant visits, they were able to gain an insight into the operation and everyday life of French bakeries, confectioneries, and chocolate factories. They got a taste of French vocational training during the practice and classes.
