International Projects

Erasmus application summary

2020-2023

In December 2023, our 2020 mobility project was completed, now within the framework of the Erasmus accreditation application. Due to the international problems caused by the pandemic, this round of applications could only start in 2022.

Six people are on a viticulture-wine internship at the MFR Richerenches school in Richerenches, France, six people are on a bakery-confectionery internship at the Cfa Européen Louis Prioux institution in the city of Bar Le Duc, also in France, six people are agricultural mechanics and food industry professional group students at the GRM in Novo Mesto, Slovenia Novo Mesto – Center Biotechnike in Turizma school, and six of our main food industry technician and agricultural machinery technician students participated in a three-week internship in the Spanish city of Cordoba within the framework of cooperation with the Europe Connexion partner office.

Levente Lukács 2.10. and our confectioner student completed his three-month long-term internship at the partner institution in Bar Le Duc alone and independently in the ErasmusPro program.

In the 2022 tender round, a new collaboration with the Escuela de Viticultura y Enología Félix Jiménez in Requena, Spain began. During the preparatory visit in May 2023, we agreed on the joint implementation of professional practice and study trips. As a result, in September 2023, our school’s six students participating in adult viticulture and winemaking education took part in a three-week professional internship in the company of the accompanying colleague and the colleague completing the professional study tour.

The professional internships, language learning mobilities, institutional management and professional study tours, which have a history of almost twenty years, with the involvement and participation of 80% of the teaching staff, serve the international strategy of the institution and the objectives contained in the Erasmus plan, which was introduced later, well. In addition to the support and professional assistance of the Tempus Public Foundation, the good cooperation of colleagues and international partners and the guiding principle of providing students with a wide range of opportunities make it possible to implement our international programs, which are performed at a high level according to the evaluations of the Support Manager.

                                                                                                      International grants 2004-2016

                                                                                                     European Union/Lifelong Learning Programme/

Comenius/International co-operation between schools

1./ BeyondBorders 2005-2008

(Dutch-Greek-Hungarian co-operative project)

The grant was financed, so a three-year co-operation was established with the Athen’s LLP  and the Franeker’s AMS school. The main aim of the program is to broaden the European horizons, to develop knowledge of the country and to increase the cultural growth of our students, developing personal and professional (foreign language, IT) competences. During the term, two project meetings were held in all three countries, resulting in 15 students getting to partner institutions. At the meeting in Sátoraljaújhely, the Dutch and Greek students were given interesting tasks to do, among them discovering Kalvaria and the stations, and locating the torn cities on the map.

The three-year collaboration was fruitful, as besides getting to know the countries of the partner institution, many individual enrichment opportunities were created for students and for teachers alike.

2. / Migration across Europe 2012 – 2014

(Dutch-Italian-Turkish-Hungarian co-operative project)

In 2012, after two years of preparatory work (among them a Dutch and a Hungarian grant writing visit – where the prospective partners worked together) we succeeded in our work and again received the support of the new project.

As is clear from the title, European migration had to be studied based on the criteria given to everyone in their own school, and then, in preparation for each project meeting, a special material was needed to justify work at home.

During the project, 18 students could travel to the project meetings.

II. European union/Lifelong Learning Programme/

Leonardo/International co-operation between schools

Within the framework of international cooperation between Leonardo / Schools

We have been working with two partner institutions within the Leonardo training program since 2008 within the professinal training program of Leanardo.

One of them is the town of Jordbruksskule in Voss, Norway, the other is the MFR school in Richerenches, France.

Our fruitful cooperation is based on providing mutual professional practice opportunities for our students. During 2008-2014 period, 36 studentstravelled to Norway and 42 to Netherlands and participated in the professional traning. During this period 50 French and 16 Norwegian students visited our school and took part in professinal training here.

In 2011, there was also an exchange of experiences between school leaders at the French partner.

III.European Union/ Erasmus+programs

From 2015 onwards, the new Comenius/Leonardo project was given a new title. We will continue to implement our previous vocational training practices with our French and Norwegian partners.

In the autumn of 2015 and 2016 16 students in were in France, in spring of 2016 7 students attended Norwegian professinal training as a continuation of the previous Leonardo program.

IV. EGT Financing program 2007-2009 Norway

In the framework of the EEA funding grant, we successfully applied for the mutual professional training of 14 Hungarian and 14 Norwegian students in 2007 (the specialty of the grant was that the Hungarian party submitted the program to the students of the Norwegian institution) as well as for a mutual professional study meeting between the Norwegian and Hungarian school management (5-5 ).

In the autumn of 2008 and in the spring of 2009, a deep and well-established relationship emerged between the two institutions that since the Leonardo/later named Erasmus programs, the implementation of the mutual work experience has been carried out since 2008.

In the spring of 2016 we have successfully applied for a one-week professional study trip with our school’s practical training provider partners(Geomilk-Sárospatak, Sajó-Hús Miskolc, Gyarmati Bakery Tolcsva, Moravszki Bakery Pálháza, Miklóháza Polyán Association, Mikóháza Agricultural Grocery Company KFT) It will take place in March 2017.

V. Dinamical youth program

Twenty-four students participated in Polish youth programs on three occasions, where our students were primarily given tasks of exploring the cultures of other nations.

VI. Conducting a one-week program with our Danish partner and professional delegation

The Danish relationship in our school dates back to 2010. The partner school were looking for students who attended Danish schools and were given internships. Given that this kind of opportunity requires a high level of language and personal skills one student has participated in the program.

As part of the relationship, we were asked to organize the programs for the exchange of experiences.

VII. Paris International Wine Tasting Competition

Our institution was invited to a prestigious event in 2015, where two of our students represented our school. The 10th and 17th place was achieved by our students amoung the prestigious international contestants. On February 27, 2017, our team will travel again.

VIII. VITEA International Strategic Cooperation for the shaping of wine-pruning curriculum

11 partners

(Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian, Slovenian, Austrian and two Hungarian institutions – Villány and Georgikon) – a two-year co-operative program (2015-2017)
